Results 32nd Multi Pump Pistol Match....
« on: November 23, 2009, 02:13:23 AM »

....are here. Some pretty tight scores in this event last week.....g2h wins GOLD, Magnum takes home the SILVER and Toolmaker rounds out the podium with BRONZE. And JQR gets special kudos since he used the one-handed grip position in this match. Congratulations to all who participated in this fun event. And this must be a record somewhere....all participants got at least one "X" in their scores....hooray.

Thanks for the 1 hand mention but it's all about sights. With a 2 hand grip the rear sight (williams) moves into a range where my eyes don't seem to want to focus very well. My score would be worse on this one if I were using 2 hands.  Also, for those interested - I shot with 4 pumps. Seems to be enough power while minimizing 'recoil'. It's got to me that gets inconsistent when going to 5, 6 + pumps....

Thanks JQR....I added that little stat to the scores.  For paper I just use 5 pumps....if I use less the pellets tend to shoot left and if I use more they go right.

Toolmaker....why are you using 8 pumps for paper?  Just out of curiousity.

No reason. I'm still new at this and I just decided on that day that I'd go with 8 pumps.
