I've had my Daisy/Powerline/Winchester 1000S for a couple of years now and love it. Mine is the synth stock but it's definately a powerhouse. And mine is super accurate. After tuning it to tone down the twang and stuff the stock, it's a keeper. Taken many a tree rat already. Wood stock should have less recoil and twang. I'm also partial to the thumb safety. Excellent project gun!!!!

I have both, wood and synthetic, and you're correct in that the wooden stocked version does have less twang and vibration.  Both of mine are tack drivers with absolutely awesome power.  I love mine  :)

i had a 1000sb very powerful loud accurate its a bargin but the rings got to go u need a one piece mount otherwise it will shatter the scope and the sb and the ws anit much of a diffence only stock but the action is the same ....
