I have shot bows since I have been in grade school, and I shot a recurve bow on the archery team at Ohio State University. I traded several air-rifles for a couple longbows, arrows, and $200 cash to Lanny Tayorr a Wichita Kansas bow maker. I got a 48 lb handmade laminated longbow, and a 78 lb handmade laminated longbow. Lanny also made me several sets of arrows spined to the bows. I traded him a RWS 350 177 magnum air rifle, a Sheridan Blue Streak, and a RWS 5G air pistol. Lanny is very happy with his new air guns, and I have been shooting the bows alot, and I am happy with them. His company is "Taylormade Bows". I also traded some RWS air rifles for a Beman RX2 gas ram 177 air rifle and cash. The RX2 is wonderful! It came with a Centerpoint variable objective focus scope. It will shoot one hole groups at 25 yards with Beman Kodiak pellets. i am now working in Idaho, and I might do some bow hunting. I have always had a love for the longbow.
