I was curious just how many N.R.A. Members belonged to the GTA .

Me too :)      Great organization, without them it's conceivable that none of us would be shootin anything more powerful than a slingshot.

Hey Bill, proud member here too. I think everybody should be a NRA member. They do great work and they are our first defense against the loony gun control freaks out there today!

Im happy to see that the AirGunners here realiize that we are also in danger of loosing our Constitutional Rights !

I too, do not agree with the way that thr N.R.A. conducts the protection of OUR RIGHTS, however there the only real organization working for this goal. They act more like POLITICIANS than PATRIOTS protecting OUR RIGHTS.

I feel that "WE THE PEOPLE" shoud inform OUR REPRESENTATIVES THAT WE will not allow any ANY INFRINGEMENTS ON OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, AT ALL !  EVER !!

And Jeff, we in nEW jERKEY, are not allowed to have or use "SLING SHOTS" they are considered "FIREARMS" but CRIMINALS HAVE RIGHTS !
NOT CITIZENS...

I am GLAD to see that the IDEAL to PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTION is still formost with our shooters, OUR AMERICANS, HEARTS , STILL TODAY!

I for ONE, have taken an OATH, TO PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTION FROM ENEMIES, BOTH FORIEGN AND DOMESTIC, and with the help and strength from GOD, I WILL STAND TALL, UNTIL MY LAST BREATH, KEEPING THIS OATH !

You might think that I am a little over zealous, however when we loose this, the ONLY RIGHT THAT GIVES US THE TOOLS NEEDED TO PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTION, "WE" WILL LOOSE "ALL" OF OUR "RIGHTS" !  FOREVER ! ! !

Bill,,, one can never be over zealous when it comes to our constitutional rights !!!!

In college I was a history major,,,,here's an interesting, and little know, fact:   One of the first things Adolf Hitler did upon assuming power was to abolish all personal possession of firearms.   Scary when you look at the powerful, coordinated attacks on our rights as Americans to possess and bear arms.  

I too have some issues with some of the political views and tactics of the NRA,,, but like it has been said,,, they are the only organization fighting for our rights in this arena.
