where to buy a leupold scope.

I am going to buy a friend of mine a scope for his Remington model 710 30-06 for cristmas. He has been letting me hunt on his lease for free and helping me get started hunting with advise and such. He still uses the cheap scope that came with the package gun and is to tight to spend the money on a better one. Probly go with a 3-9x40 rifleman model does any one know where I can get a good deal on one. Or any advise experience or input.
