Gun repair
« on: March 23, 2007, 09:19:41 AM »
Built a spring compressor, based loosely on Rich's design( thanks for posting such good pics, Rich!), but had to take Eric back to the hospital just after I put the gun into it, so haven't had time to do any disassembly, clean, smooth, lube or spring replacement yet. got pics, but haven't had time to unload to the computer yet. Cost about $5 for parts I didnt have lying around. Will post pics after I see if it works!

Thanks, Guys! After my boy comes home, I'm gonna inspect,  polish, Lube and reassemble with the stock spring I got from Rich. Just time and $20! Got 2,000 pellets just waiting to contaminate the backyard.

Ya know, shooting takes so much concentration it takes all the worries away, something I could use after the last month.
Gotta love this place!

Here's what one of my customers did to his compressor to make it a neeter setup.
He used  some couplers and short stove bolts and made legs for it to sit off the bench.

Thanks, Rich. I just happen to have some of those! Amazing what you can come up with when you get a bunch of like-minded guys together.
