Hilman76,
I had no idea so much aftermarket equipment was available for an air rifle. I know the specialized target rifles get lots of farkles, but there are a lot of upgrades for the plinker as well.
       Thank you.

Hi Spysir
Thank you for all the information. I am trying just to wade through the Discovery information right now. I think that is where my money will go. (Discovery/Katana) I'm not quite up to jumping in on an air rifle that will need a lot of modification.
Thank you also for the pump information. That I will have to wait until I am close to putting the money down on the rifle, but if the Crossman pump will be a good one, it might get ordered with the air rifle.
As far as shipping to Alaska, yes shipping is high, but if you live in Alaska or Hawaii, you just have to accept that fact.

Hi Hilman76,
Did you advertise on the GTA site to buy the Hill pump, or did you find it elsewhere?
I'm just thinking out loud, but, how often do folks sell a Discovery or Katana on the GTA sight or elsewhere? What kind of price would one demand used?
       Thank you.

I order the JSB from Bori at Top Air guns. He has the best prices and shipping rates. http://topgun-airguns.com/

I have a Buris TimberLine 4-14x32 on the .22. It is clear and compact, perfect for the Disco. It cost around $200. On the .177 I have a Tasco Varmint 2.5-10x44. It is a very nice scope for the money ($75) shipped plus it is mil-dot.
