Glad I found the GTA forum and CDT. So much info here. I bought a new house with a huge backyard and immediatly thought "airgun range". I had an old Crosman 870 that I taught my 2 boys (12, 6) to shoot. My older son brought home straight A's on his report card. So to reward him I took him shopping, he picked out a Gamo big cat. WOW! these things are powerful and great fun. So with the new rifle the Beeman pellet trap was no longer holding up. I ran down to the local feed store and picked up 3 bundles of hay for a pellet trap also found at Wal Mart a nice plinking target. My kids will sit out back for hours shooting. We have caught the "air gun fever" so for Christmas my younger is getting a Gamo Recon and I am getting myself a big cat. CRT III triggers in our stockings also. My wife thinks I am crazy. LOL

John,
A big welcome to GTA Forums. Glad to have you aboard and joining us other crazies. :)
We'recrazy about airguns and really enjoy all aspects of the sport. You've found the best place to call home!!!!
Lots ofuseful info and a large group of very friendly and extremely helpful folks.
Sounds like it's gonna be a good Christmas. The GRT-III trigger is a MUST have for any airgun. Too bad it doesn't fit ALL airguns.
Happy Shooting!!!!

Thanks for the welcome guys. I can't wait to give my little guy his new rifle. Mine will be sent to Gene for a tune shortly after the new year too. There are so many choices out there I couldn't decide what to get. I like my sons BC so I decided to get the same.
