evenin' ya'll............
well after much research and great advice,..................i lopped 4 inches off the end of our (ryans and mine ) winchester 1000x. the rifle as recieved from ed aka shadow was a pristine gun,..........but a little long for my taste.
after lopping off the barrel ( its now a nice 13" ) and spending some time getting the crown to my liking, i can definitely say it made a heck of a difference ! increased fps, and definitely less hold sensitive.
now the issue is,........well im spoiled. my shooters have been tuned by mr mellick as well as tim of mac-1, so the triggers are things of beauty; this hatsan based winchester though has a heavy pull...........about 8#s by my scale.
ive found some trigger tuning info online for the hatsans, but was hoping one of ya'll might have this talent. ( or maybe some good ol advice )
seems to me a lighter trigger would be easier than bench lifting excersizes for my trigger finger !!
thanks in advance ................jim aka triry
