Diana 34 on loan.
« on: December 05, 2009, 03:19:32 AM »

This passed Thanksgiving, I was atmy folks place. Later in the day,...I decided to pull out the TF-97 that I gave myDad for some critter control. After shooting this rifle,....it just wasn't up to snuff IMO. So I lent him my 34 Diana for a while.

So instead of doing the search engine hunt, I thought I'd ask anyone if they know where I can get a scematic drawing of the 97 before I dig into it. Also,if there are any suggestions on seals and springs that might be available for this shooter, I would be much abliged.

Thanks, tjk

I'll look around for my docs but wanted to warn you now in case you jump on it that when you open it up be very careful of the three pins that hold the trigger together.  The stock is the only thing holding them in and if you turn the action sideways they will fall out.

Roger That,....Thanks Andy,....very good advice on the pins. We'll 'look into it' tommorrow, right now I have a date/session with my new shooter. The 97 isn't a bad gun,...but seems a bit weaker since I first gave it to Dad. I have a sneaking suspicion he'll really like the 34,...might not see that rifle for quite a while!!!!! LOL's, tjk
