pellets, junk or good?
« on: December 07, 2009, 05:27:49 AM »
New to the forum so I am not sure which pellets are worth using. This looks like a good deal for plinking and such.

Cabelas. .177  Gamo Pro Magnum  8.4 grain 750 count- $3.99.

Will be using in the famous Walther Force, G1 Extreme and 760.

Karl,
Welcome to GTA forums. You've found a great home here with all us mad airgunners. LOL
My Walther Force really liked Gamo Rockets and CPHP. Check out Pyramid Air since they always run a special of buy 3 get the 4th free. Also right now they have a 10% off with coupon code winter2009. I think you would also get very good results from these two rounds, especially the CPHP, IMO.
Again, welcome.
Happy Shooting!!!!

Welcome to the GTA FAMILY Karl happy to have you aboard.:0 I've had great success with the Pro Mag's in several of my shooter's and I hunt with my gal's. Give them a try but remember each shooter is different and what one likes another may not.You might have to try several types and brands to find the lead that she likes to spit true. Again welcome to the family here, we have some fantastic family here. :) Ed

Welcome! This is great forum to join. You will learn a ton of great info on here. I have a Walther Force and it seems to shoot the Beeman Crow Magnum pellets very well. It shoots them very accurately and hard! Give those a try and let us know how they work out. Just like shadow said, every gun is unique in its pellet preference so you might have to try a few different types until you find the one she likes!
