Congrats on your new Sportsman HV Sam. I think you will find that it is a very accurate, deceptively powerful air rifle. I have one and am very satisfied with it.
A few tips. Maximum fill pressure is 232 BAR (3500 PSI). You will need a BSA fill probe. The fill probe is pretty standard for most BSA PCP rifles. The fill probe that fits the Scorpion, Hornet, Lonestar will fit your Sportsman NV. Air Guns of Arizona has them in stock. When fillig the rifle, be sure to cock the sear by pushing in the cocking knob, the large button at the front of the stock, under the reservoir. Cocking the sear when filling allows for an easier, more complete fill. The fill port is located under the knurled cap at the front of the reservoir. I use the gauge on my FX pump for checking fill pressure and have had no problems.
The Sportsman HV uses the BSA Micro Movement cocking system. At the back right side of the receiver is a small release lever for the bolt. Push the button down and it will release the bolt, which will move out of the receiver under spring pressure. The bolt is pushed forward with your thumb to feed a pellet into the barrel chamber. The 10 shot magazine on the HV is the same magazine all BSA multi shot rifles use. AoA has the mags. in stock too. To load the mag., release the bolt and leave it open, release the magazine by pushing forward the mag. release lever which is located at the front left of the receiver. Pull the magazine out from the left. The magazine loads by placing a pellet in the hole at the bottom of the mag. and then rotating the magazine drum one position counterclockwise, repeat till full. Insert the mag., push the mag. release catch forward, push the bolt home to feed a pellet into the barrel chamber. Cock the sear by pushing in the sear button at the front of the stock, release the safety and you are ready to fire.
The sear can be cocked and uncocked, Cock the sear by pushing in the sear cocking button. To uncock the sear, (leaving a pellet in the chamber), Push the sear cocking button in fully and hold it in, pull the trigger fully while holding the sear cocking button in, keep the trigger fully dpressed and slowly release the sear cocking button. The sear is now uncocked, leaving a pellet in the chamber. Cock the sear again and you are ready to fire without having to cycle the bolt.
I hope you enjoy your new rifle. You got a great deal on a very high quality PCP rifle. The Sportsman HV is a great hunting rifle.
