Anybody bought the crosman parts to build a
« on: December 08, 2009, 09:48:51 AM »
2250 air chambered pcp pistol lately?
I'm thinking about ordering the 2250 tube, discovery valve, fill adapters and making my own pcp pistol.
Was just curious if anybody had an idea of what it would cost without me having to call crosman and ask them.
Thanks Ray

I think Crowpopper just built one. He will be around here soon. His gun came out sweet looking. :)

I've heard of some using the 2250 tube, or a 2300 tube because of the laser etching instead of the stamping.
I know the valves gotta be pinned on both sides with screws like a discovery rifle.
Other than lower shot count from a shorter tube, it should work, shouldn't it??

I have built two recently. First on on a custom shop 2400 tube. The second on a Don Cothran custom length tube. He makes nice tubes.

Both are very nice to shot. One is .177 for target shotting with LW barrel and the other is .25 with a Track of the Wolf barrel. Both are awesome fun.
