I guess not  

I just got done making a shim for the breach seal and cleaning the bore. So I just couldn't wait... set the spring... dropped in a CPHP... Flipped on the yard light... took aim at an empty spot on the hillside where I set up targets sometimes... slowly squeezed the trigger... I heard the pellet hit the frozen ground beneath the 14" of snow    I came inside, wiped her down with a silicone cloth and put her to bed back in the safe.

That was so smooth it was like butter. I think it is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

I will maybe do a write up after I get it sighted in this week.

I *want* lots of things, however will settle for considerably less :-) After I see that the wife and kids get what they want most I might pick up some of the following:

1 piece Leapers accutshot mount (for the Air Hawk).

NCstar 2-7x pistol scope

Flattop piston for the 1377

modified valve for the 1377 (might do that myself, dunno)

2289 grip for the 1377

.22 bolt and probe for the 1377

..dunno, want to soup up the 1377 and convert to .22 potentially (I have a 24" .22 barrel already that I might cut down).

I would just like some time to shoot the airguns I already own.

I do have a List, and even a Short List. But lately I find that opening the safe is like meeting a roomful of strangers. Maybe I will get to reacquaint myself with the current herd over the holiday break. There are some in there that I've hardly ever shot. I have a B5-10 that I have never really given a fair shake, for example, and I thought it had a lot of potential. And I still haven't found the time or the nerve to air up the Dragonslayer!
