Sweet. I have pair of swaging dies from Hawk bullets. One is .44 cal, the other is .45 cal. Where'd ye get yer swaging dies? What brand? What press do you use?
The Hawk Bullet dies are designed to be used in a standard reloading press. I use a Lee Classic Cast Iron O-frame press.
I don't have any pointed nose punches, though.
I want to make some hollowpoint nose punches, so I can make some pure lead HPs. Coat them with dry moly spray and they would be sweet for use in non-magnum revolvers and PCP rifles.

Looks like you and I could talk bullet swaging and casting for a while. Glad I'm not the only one here who likes to roll my own.

I have a corbin S press and the die is from Dave Corbin as well . I have a .251 die and some ingot molds ordered through Richard Corbin now . They are late as it is and the next promised date was by the first of next month but I will really be surprized if they get here by then . I have talked to Allen at hawk about 2 other dies I want but he is not retuning my messages right now . He said it was hunting season and he was in a stand more than in the office right now . How do you like his dies are they producing the right size and a good smooth surface ? Marvin

Yes.  So far I like them very much. I thought about trying to get him to make me a .454" die, and a .221" die  I've even used his .45 die to reform  Winchester .44-40 jacketed softpoints into .45 Colt JSPs.
I've thought about getting a few more calibers of his dies and making my own HP nose punches. Pure lead HP with the nose cavity filled with my homemade beeswax/lanolin/Crisco patch lube would expand like gangbusters without having to be driven to ridiculous velocities.
