Sports Authority GAMO Hunter 220
« on: March 26, 2007, 07:11:30 AM »
I was browsing around at "Sports Authority" this morning and saw the discount price tag on the GAMO Hunter 220 combos was $49.47 unopened NIB. It was an offer that I couldn't refuse. They also have Benjamin 392's for $49.47.

At that price it's literally a steal.  I doubt the 2 Sports Authorities near me will have those clearance deals, but just in case I'm gonna take a ride to both of em tonight and see.  Congrats on a super find  :)

No luck Gene,,,,   Just got back about 20 minutes ago  from the 2 "Sports Authority" stores near me and no 220's, or any air rifles, on clearance.  I didn't think there would be but I just had to check.  Actually I just thought of one more "Sports Authority" within driving distance,,,, it's a little bit of a hike but I think I'll motor over there tomorrow and check it out.  It's actually the biggest of the 3 stores and has the largest hunting and air rifle department.  I can't believe I forgot about that store.  Who knows,,, maybe I'll hit paydirt.

Gene, if they have them you want me to get you one??  Let me know.  If you do, and they have em, I'll get ya one and ship it down to ya.  Ed, same for you,, let me know.

Thank's for thinking about us Jeff but I'm still breaking in my new Gamo 220.22 that I got from my airbud, Dano. But what a deal if you score one or more at that price. I figure by the time I'm done with this reply Gene will have replied and said YES YES oh YES LOL.Ed

Hey, Jeff, buddy, pal, amigo... uh, could I get on that list :-)?  I still want to do a Shadow/Hunter gas ram, and at $50, I could build a REALLY SWEET rifle for under $250!  Please, please, please????!!!!  I never did find one of those $74 Shadows....

No problem Dave,,,,,

I didn't get to that Sports Authority today, although I should've went, but I'm gonna definately take a ride there tomorrow morning.  If they have them I'll make  pick you one up.  Of course I have to warn you that the way my luck runs the guy in the sporting goods section will probably burst into loud laughter when I ask him, but nothing ventured nothing gained.  Keep your fingers crossed......

Hey Dave,
Went to the last Sports Authority in my area this morning,,,, no luck buddy.  They didn't even have any 220's.  Oh well, was worth a try anyway.
