Best solvent to clean off blue loc-tite from screws.
« on: December 29, 2009, 11:52:36 AM »

I am going to swap scopes from a Qb78 to my brand spankin' new Disco. I used the blue loc-tite when I set the scope on the Qb. I want to clean off any dry stuff on the scope mounts so I can place it on my Disco. Whats the best stuff you guys are using to clean up Loc-tite ? Any tips will help

Thank you all and have a safe and Happy New Year!!

A little alcahol and a small wire brush. I also use a Q-Tip and some acetone for the female threads.
