Somebody send the SUN!
« on: January 08, 2010, 04:24:23 AM »
Al Gore doesn't live in Tennessee very much anymore.  I'd like someone to explain to me why it is so freaking cold!  I'm sure he'd say "global warming" is why it is so cold. Even the raccoons haven't been aroung the last two nights despite the fact I've stayed up to try and get a shot.

This morning I slept until 10!  I was just so tired from waiting for the dinger to go off.  :(

I was just thinking the same thing about the whole global warming thing. It's a chilly 24 degree here in Utah this morning and thats on it's way up. It was single digit temps this morning when I reloaded all of the feeders.

Now THAT'S funny, I don't care WHERE youare. And a response I'd give too Randy. Sorry Gerald, watch out for sharks.

Hey, the west coast of TN ain't no better. Supposed to dip into the minus temps tonight. I'm just glad I'm not a well digger...HeeHee

And we don't live in Montana or North Dakota so we're not use to this.

No offense intended Gerald. "Duck" here means lower you head quickly to keep from being hit by something. Like the handful of frozen squirrel poop.

Well, for the whole week it's been really cloudy and about 1cm of snow each day....but the temperatures were in the -3C to -9C range.  Guess what....the sun's going to be out this weekend....but the temps dropped to -14C with a windchill of -24C.  In mid-winter....the cloud actually traps the sun's rays so it's warmer.....when we have clear blue skies it usually is very cold.
