Does this strike you as a bit odd?

Recently passed on a gun that was tuned but it still had the original trigger (takes a goldie). Now, why would someone pay a guy good money to do a full tune but not the extra few bucks for a better trigger? If I were short on change, it would be the trigger first and the tune after. Actually put me off on the sale as it felt a bit funny.

Everything depends on WHO did the tune Red,

Many people out there advertise "gun has been tuned" but do not mention WHO Tuned it !

They probably performed their own tune, if anything at all, so a GOLD TRIGGER was not around, and probably the correct lubes were not around either. Home tunes can be O.K. to Great, but you can't beat having a knowledgeable AirGun Smith Doing the tune with the proper lubes, in there proper places.

They probably liked the factory trigger or didn't have the cash for a new one.

I for one kinda like the Gamo/Theoben triggers. After a little bit of smoothing they're quite pleasant and predictable to me.
