What is your fav freephoto editing software?

I,m using Picasa3 right now,just wondering if anything out there is better for storing and editing photos.,Thanks

I second the vote for Gimp. I've used it for years under Linux and more recently under Mac OSX. It works great on Windows as well.

Gimp is good but Adobe Photoshop CS4 is the best

Yes photoshop is better but doesn't fit the criteria of free photo editing software :-)

I use CS4 and Lightroom and PSPX12. Did all the photography for a book on PSP.

I write books about Photoshop (my 8th came out in March!)... I don't do a lot with free software, but I have to say most people might do better with Photoshop Elements. It is about $60 on sale, and you can follow most Photoshop tutorials you find on line using it.
