He begins:

"Another advantage: you can put two pallets at a time. One inside the barrel another can be kept in the rotary breech for quick shooting. [How is THAT accomplished?]

Gsmith competition is good one. Wash and dry it. You will be amazed with the performance." [Wash and dry what? Pellets? The gun?]

Then he goes on to add:

First the tips:
1. Do not fire while rotary breech opened. You may break the mainspring and the breech seal. [Sound advice for any tap loader.]

2. Use the second pallet as a pusher so the 1st pallet seat tightly inside the barrel. Otherwise while taking a high shot your pallet may flip back and it will dry fire which cause detonation and it will bad for your compression chamber.

OK, I get the part about seating one pellet with another, but where does the first pellet fall back to when the gun is pointed up? Is he loading the gun tilted up? And, if you put the second pellet into the rotary breech, as he first suggests, how do you draw any air into the gun for the next shot?

Red, I think I know what he is talking about as to the extra pellet. The rotary breech has a hole straight through it that connects the transfer port to the barrel inlet when the breech is closed. You could leave a pellet on the ramp of the rotary breech without effecting how the gun is fired when the breech is closed. You would want to make sure that the gun was relatively horizontal and upright when you reopen the breech or the pellet that you left sitting loose on the loading ramp will fall out onto the ground. On the other hand you do have a pellet there that can be quickly seated into the barrel when you open the breech and you don't have to fumble in your pocket for one, etc.

You do not want to fire the gun with the breech open because unlike a break barrel you would not be dry firing it but would be firing it with no outlet for the air charge except to blow out one of the breech seals or the piston seal.

P.S. I was glad I could give back after all you have helped me with RedFeather!

Yeah, I guess there is enough room in that cut out area to store a pellet. as far as firing with the tap open, that's true of any tap loader. You're dropping the piston onto a closed system. Probably not as bad a dry firing, but not good, either. I still don't know what he is referring to as having the first pellet (or pallet, if you prefer) falling out when shooting upwards.
