Anyone out there have one of the new Socom guns?  They look awesome and I was wondering if anyone had any info about how they preform.

Nice.  Does yours have the metal trigger or the plastic one?

I would think that the FPS would be similar to the Extreme version since the actions and internals are the same just different stocks. Most of the . from what I've read and heard most of the .177's are in the high 900's or over 1000fps depending on the pellet weight. It can be hard to pin consistent accuracy down with a springer shooting over a 1000fps. My Hunter Extreme Royal.22 push's 16g lead in the low 800's and that's plenty of power to drop small game. Tune and de-tune it to get a better handling Magnum and better accuracy. Ed
