Jeff, I had luck with showing her the size of pellets and having some difficulty in bringing down a raccoon in the backyard. Said I needed a 25 cal for the thick coon skulls. Its mostly true. But we know that with excellent shot placement, even the lowly .177 could pop a coon...but those spastic little coons dont sit still for very long. A .25 helps a lot. You guys have woodchucks out your way...a .25 surely would make a great big "smack" on them!!!
