Good question.  I've never seen any official GAMO representatives actually make any posts  but perhaps they have dropped in for a peek.  I really don't know, but if they don't they should  :)      Josh from Crosman used to pop in every once in a while but I haven't seen him post in a long time and I'm told he no longer works for Crosman....

Crosman is pretty good at getting back to people.  I sent a letter in to the CEO about my NPSS not having any breach spacers, etc. and a gentlemen by the name of Ed Schultz actually called me back.  I don't know if he was the CEO, but after talking to him on the phone, he seemed like a really nice guy and said he was going to send me a couple of tins of pellets for my troubles.

Yea seriously if anyone from Gamo actually did see this they might stop coming out with the same guns year after year only changing the stocks.  Not to mention the current uproar over the trigger but hey who are we to speculate on a company like Gamo.........oh wait we're theyre customer's!!!! Hmmmmmmmmm interesting lol

I think, if Crosman keeps on going the way they are going...meaning great, then they just might squeeze Gamo out. I used to look at Gamo's stuff, and I even have some of their gunz...but I wont be buying any more. The only reason I bought any Gamos to begin with is because you could get a GRTIII trigger and make it a new gun, plus lubetune it. Not anymore....Crosman has my eye now.

I would like to think so but I think not and I think Gamo is losing touch with what the costumer want's. :0 If they would send out scout's so to speak to the airgun forums they could get a real world input on what the customer is looking for in a shooter. If changing the design of the trigger is a way to save money they will loose it with the customers going somewhere else and purchasing a different brand of shooter. What's next a Gamo shooter made completely out of plastic?. :o  :0 Ed

Well, I sent them an invitation. I told them it wouldbenefit them AND us if they dropped in from time to time. They could identify potential problems with their products as well as get "real world" feedback from consumers. Will see if they respond.

Happy Shooting!!!!

Also sent Kim Yaddow of Crosman customer service an invitation to join us. She says Mark took Josh's place so she passed the invitation on to him. He's at the Shot Show in Vegas this week and will be back to work next week. Hopefully he will join us. It would be helpful to all of us if the manufacturers had representatives that checked in from time to time. Would help with issues and give them ideas for new models or how to improve their existing ones.

I agree with Dave !!

I used to look at the GAMO guns and I've got at least 6 of them in the gun safe but I won't buy any more.   Like Dave said, you just drop in a GRT, do a deburr and lube tune and you've got a great shooter, but not anymore :(

They'll continue to sell guns to "newby's" who don't know any better and who are buying their first air rifles at Walmart and online, but eventually I think they will see their sales figures taking a nose dive and perhaps then they'll get more interested in the wants and needs of the airgun community....

Does anyone from Gamo visit this ( or anyother forum) GTA Forum???     I doubt it.   And because of thier questionable customer service,  I cannot see any Gamos in my future.  If I come across a used one at a good price I will pick it up.   But no new ones will be bought.

I have dealt with Crosman and I am satisfied with thier CS.

If they visit most forums, such as the Yellow's Main, they will come away with their eyes tearing. And, even here, which is one of the best Gamo forums around with the most knowledgeable owners, you will see flaming of the PBA's and "wild boar hunt" videos. GamoUSA's marketing department won't like that. I think that GamoUSA is only pandering to the uninformed shooting public based upon the inordinate amount of cosmetic bling they've heaped upon almost all the guns in recent years. Couple that with a lack of parts support (i.e. springs) and it doesn't speak well of their customer service.

Now that I have my 850 and a 2250xt I hardly ever shoot my Big Cat with the trigger mod. I think Longislandhunter is correct their getting the newbie crowd that's how they got me but once I got the airgun bug I quickly moved on.

That's how they got me too. I got lucky and found a friendly fish that made my Gamos perform as advertised!!! They didn't out of the box!! The last 2 I bought, a couple of years ago, I had shipped to the Tuna directly to be tuned with GRTs!!
