Dominator 1250 ,22 cal (modified)

I bought this rifle from Silo (Roald) at the 850 store.He built it to be a hunter using his "hot" 850 valve/regulator set up with a 22ci 3000 psi tank/1900 psi reg...
Performance:938 FPS avg...31 FPE using JSB 15.8 GR...40 shots on 3000 psi fill..
Accuracy: At 50 yards I've had groups at .410" (best to date) in benchrest matches..
As some may know,the factory Dominator 1250 took a 4350 psi fill shooting 29.5 FPE (100 shots).












I sighted this rifle in at 25 yards using a Walther 6x42 scope until my Hawke Eclipse 6-24x50 SF Mil Dot scope arrived, My first shot was at 12 o'clock (Pic),so made elevation adjustment,then shot this 5 shot group...this rifle has a slight recoil..it moves rearward on rest approx 1/8"- 3/16" (without shouldering it).

Roald had a good idea taking it from a 4350 psi fill to a "bottle gun" at 3000 psi made things much simpler...otherwise,would need an expensive tank to just to fill it...

At 40 shots/fill,I have plenty for both hunting and 50 yard benchrest I compete in...it really compliments my 850 HPA .177/20 FPE  rifle which I use both hunting and FT...

u really cant notice the difference unless u were close up,nice set u have and great work roald does i would like to experince one of his airrifles ....geewhiz380
