GTA Problem???
« on: January 23, 2010, 07:28:46 AM »
When you click on the "New Threads" tab, it brings up your latest unread threads. As you read the threads, they are high lighted. The next time you log onto the GTA and click on the "New Threads", the threads that you have read (clicked on) are removed from the list and any new unread threads have been added.

For some reason, mine are not being removed and I now have well over 100 unread posts even though they have been read. My question is.... is any body else having the same issue???

Also.... my users on line is still not working.

I did mention it to Gene a couple of days ago. Gene has been pretty sick for the last few days... sounds like the flu.... and he has "pellets".... coming out both ends.   :0 and has not even been able to get on the computer. Sounded terrible.  I did talk to him today and he did sound a little better and he has been able to get a little food to stay down finally.

Get well soon Gene and hurry back.  Sickness is no excuse :D

(lol) sounds like a pet rabbit we had, ate pellets and pooped pellets. Get well Gene. Charlie, I have the same issue with the "new threads" thing. No biggie, I have a short term memory, so re-reading an old thread is like reading a new thread :)

Thanks gang. When I talked to Gene about it the other day, he though that perhaps some of the script was not compatible with the new servers that we are being switched over to but he is feeling pretty rough and can't even set in front of the computer to find the bugs. It can be a pretty time consuming process.

I think what I need to do is run over there Monday and take him out to get some El Mexicano food in him. That outta do it...wadaya think??? :p  :p  :p

Thanks agin evrbody

Yup... I'm having a similar problem.

When I log off, then back on the next day I have 2 pages of "New" unread threads in every gate. They're all in the same order every day too.

Hello Bob,

I'm experiencing the same problems as you, plus my User Profile is not listing correct last log on information. It is saying that my last log on was 01/20/2010, 6:16 P.M.,as I am here, this is incorrect ?

When Gene gets well, he will make sense of all of this, I hope .

GET WELL SOON Gene !!!!!

Gene, hope you get over this mess. You were sick back during the holdays too. Been hangin' on a long time.

And everything now on the site seems to be working as it should. New Threads as well as users list.

Good job and thanks!!!!
