First Tune
« on: January 28, 2010, 01:59:38 PM »
Just finished my first tune and am very pleased with the results. I recently purchased a Gamo Hunter Sport and I was ready to return it after trying it out because of the harsh recoil and twangy  noise. I decided to keep it and try tuning it. Bought a GRT trigger and a tune kit from ^*^()(%*^$%^)()(&(. Everything went well and although I dont have a chrony it seems to have more power. Also the recoil is a nice solid sounding thunk, and the gun does not seem to jump like it did before. The hands on process also gives the hobby a new level of enjoyment.

Congrats on your first tune Dave  :)

It's amazing the difference it makes in the rifle isn't it ???  :)

Earlier today I finished tuning one of my older GAMO Shadows and she turned out Sweeeeet  :)

Sorry for mentioning someone who is apparently persona non grata on the forum. I was not aware of this when I wrote the post.
