I have to stop...
« on: January 29, 2010, 05:33:54 AM »
I don't care if I just got a rifle for "free" and another that is kin to a $350 rifle for $150...I don't NEED more rifles! I have to say I like all of them, but the collection keeps growing! I thought I was going to stop, and then I think about trading, and then I discover another rifle I might want while I'm looking at all the things to trade for and then I see another, and another! MAKE IT STOP! I need to stop wanting and enjoy what I have...

Time to clear out the low-hanging fruit...sure. Sure I will. Fat chance.

I've got a Gamo Big Cat a member is forwarding for free (I paid postage and a wee small addition that was not requested for trouble) that they say is broken, but I figure I can get a gas ram in it that will make it unique in my collection.

I just sent a check today for what appears to be a Cometa Fenix or RWS 94 (if it is a Cometa, it is from right when RWS discontinued the 94), barely used or even new. I love my Cometa Fusion and wanted to try the Fenix to see if it was as good.

Just ordered parts for a RWS48 I got in a trade where I sent off my RWS350 (which I think I'd have liked better if it were a .22), but I got ripped by a liar...and still I don't get discouraged. I have to admit it shoots well enough, even if low and left. But I can fix it!

4 guns in 2008
6 guns in 2009
already 3 in 2010...

It is accelerating!

Well, I think now all I want is an AA TX200 MKIII (though I may 'settle' for a BAM 40), a Mendoza 2800 or 2000, a Cometa in .25, and then there are the projects I planned...And I'll probably know when to get rid of them when I no longer want to shoot any one of them anymore. Hopefully that catches up with how many i'm interested in...
