How many have more than one air gun forum name tag?

I'm RedFeather wherever I happen to pollute the 'net, but I see that some guys use different names in different places.

I have noticed the same thing.    Some by identical posts.   And some by thier style of writting and phrases and terminology used by them.

At one time, I actually got paid to figure out stuff like this.  Like the people that use Morse Code,  everyone has a style distinct to them.

I use a different tag on another forum.........But, it's only to protect the innocent !!!

I use my same old "Nome de Gare" everywhere ! And I use my real name upon sign up too

Yes, I've had "Big Bill" attached to me for 54 years, and I see no reason to change it now. Heck,,,,I wouldn't know who they were talkin too under another "Name of the Day"

What I don't understand is people that hide there real names ? Must be on the F.B.I. protected witness program :0 Or, ashamed of there real name :0 Or, something to hide in their lives :emoticon:

Bill, excuse me, Big Bill   , that all depends on the name. Some guys like Joe Brown will have no trouble posting their name. Others like Mike Swxcyroski, it's another story. Having received some really weird emails and sharing a name with Mike, there, I tend not to publicize my identity. (Maybe thirty in the country variety.) Don't want to get oddball calls, etc, and also drag my family into any unforeseen unpleasantries. Sound paranoid? Here's a sample of some recent "fan mail"

'You are a classless act. I hope you are happy with your self and can sleep knowing you are a man of self rightous filth'

I have received worse e-mails from my friends, just sayin Hi!

Anyone of strong, firm opinions attracts attention ! But due to the fact that I'm up front and identified, few people e-mail me ! ?

I did attract one fellow that was going to kick my BIG $SS around, until I asked him where he would like to meet me ! No more fun, I still wish he would have continued his communications ! Mental midgets do not bother me, there like an easy,daily mental workout :p

And what I meant by using your name, was to signup with your name, or made up name, Tom, Paul or George. So when I respond to a post, I don't have to address a color, or a colored feather ! It may be just my quirk, but I enjoy addressing a person !

I try to use pgsmith or pgsmith(some number) every where I go, that is the name I was given for the witness protection program some years ago. I figure if someone trys to find me it will lead to the FBI so good luck.
