I have/had several squirrels ( actually 4 ) that have made it a habit of showing up only on the weekends to plunder the feeders.. This morning at 8 o'clock, sure enough 3 came racing for the feeders. I grabbed the G-1 with a chopped barrel and snuck out the backdoor. They had retreated into the tops of several very tall pines in the front yard. They thought they had concealed themselves from view. I spotted 2 hunkered together on the same branch, at least 60ft up. Sighted on the best shot and touched off. Scratch 1 squirrel . His best friend jumped to another branch and gave me a better view of him. Scratch squirrel #2. The 3rd squirrel had taken up refuge in another group of pines and thought he was concealed....wrong. The RWS pellet hit him so hard that I clearly heard the slap of the hit. Scratch squirrel #3. All removed in less than 10 minutes. I could keep up this kind of shooting all day. Now, where is that 4th squirrel?
Pellet used: RWS Superdome .177
