if you look close at the pic, you can see it is grooved for a scope

you can scope it no problem, the rear sight is removeable if needed as is the front.  The prototype I have is .22 and will bury a light  14 gr. wadcutter about 1/2 inch into a 2 X 6, haven't moved the chrony to the shop yet but will get some numbers...the barrel port is a 4mm hole so it should put out more fps than the 78. The valve is a high flow type with side cutouts. I did notice the head of the valve may need some work to improve flow but as it's a proto that could just be from what they have in stock. The valve is the same as the 78. The safety is kind of complicated but is a good design so should be a safe rifle for younger shooters. You won't need extra grub screws to hold the barrel as I can't move the barrel to the side or up and down when installed, the screws for the rear sight help hold it tight also but that might just be on this one. The only problem I found so far is this one leaks at the tube to reciever join, don't have any pipe tape and I buggered the o-ring slightly when removing it so will have to get another one and replace it...looks to be a winner ,just have to wait now to see what the production run looks like...
