Last snow hunt
« on: April 04, 2007, 07:49:36 AM »
Well I just downloaded  some hunt pic's this one is from my last snow hunt. I had gotten up early that morning before work, about 5:00am. Got bundled up in the camo and headed out back through the tree's and snow. It was time to notch the B26-2 and with no varment lamp or laser. I have a light that strap's to my head and stuck it on. I walked out back and let my eye's adjust to the dark a bit and procceded to move out through the tree's and into the field's behind my place. Made it to my local rabbit hang and hunkered down with a nice bright moon above me. Here he came out of the tree's ahead of me at about 25yrd's .I layed out onto the snow and pulled down the cross hair's, reaching up to turn on my lamp on the gun... Dummy Ed wrong gun. I cussed to myself and switched on the lamp on my head hehe. I refocused through my scope and he had turned sideway's and froze. I had already prechambered a Predator, enough said, put the crosshair's behind his eye and let her fly. Rabbit anyone. Ed

Very nice Ed.  The gun, and the rabbit, look great.  I was looking at your mount,,, did you wind up putting on the same risers that Gene had used to raise the height of the scope?

Nice.  Giving the squirrels a break?  Man, I wish I got to shoot a half of what you do.  Congrats, David

It will give me something to brag about to the grandchildren when I get old. I remember when we use to shoot em with these little lead pellet's. I could hit a rabbit from 200 yrd's, with my eye's closed hehe. Then they will pull out their laser gun's and vaporize one.:( Gimme that gun kid, you'll vaporize your eye out!. Ed
