GRT III Trigger
« on: February 04, 2010, 11:17:04 AM »
While looking at the Gamo site I noticed they gave a trigger pull weight for my Gamo Nitro. It was listed at 3.79. I was sorry I didn't check it before installing the GRT III trigger but did have a chance to check the new trigger today and what a difference , my Tru-Weight scale shows 1lb 6 oz. Thats better then my Savage Mark II    :)

The GRTIII is the best !!! I can't imagine living with the terrible stock trigger on my Gamo.

Anyone with an air rifle that will accept the GRT III should purchase it without reservation, It will deliver what is promised. snookman

Hey Walt, a big welcome to the GTA forum and family.  And you're right, the GRT III trigger is smooth and light...it'll definitely make your air rifle more accurate.  When I ordered from Charlie Da Tuna....I ordered five (For my Crosmans and Gamos)....now I need another for for my latest Crosman....the G1 Extreme.  She's very accurate now....I've adjusted the trigger to break immediately after the long first stage.....still it's a heavy long first stage.  Shooting off a rest it's not so bad....but shooting off-hand, the barrel will start to sway when pressure is applied to the trigger for such a long time.
Gamo: Expotec .177 + Big Cat .177 + Viper .177 + Whisper .177, Hammerli Titan .177, Diana model 24 .177, RWS-Diana P5 Magnum pistol .177, Crosman: G1 Extreme .177 + Storm XT .177 + Sierra Pro .177 + 1377 pistol .177, Air Arms S410SL .22, BSA Scorpion T10 .22, FX Cyclone .177, Remington Air Master 77 .177 + BB\'s,

I put a grt on my silent cat last night and went out today to test it out.  The first 3 shots went off well before I tought they would.  This trigger really is the greatest thing since sliced bread.  Super smooth and light.  Accuracy has also improved.
