Hey TCups...A nice pair of rifles...Is the bottom one a Browning?   Watch that rimfire bug..he gets expensive. My collection stopped at 23.  After building four 10/22s,I put my wallet away.. :) Duh....I just read the caption under the picture.

Good, you're gonna really enjoy it. I have a Savage 19 NRA, built between 1919 and 1936 I believe, in "excellent" (not mint) condition, - taking that out to 100 yards is really enjoyable. I had holes drilled/tapped for a rail, and mounted a scope. Most days at the range I put about 80-100 rounds out, - and have pretty much given up any other powder burners. IMO, Savage Arms are WAY under-rated. This thing has a 28" barrel - and is a joy to shoot. Reports are it can hold 1/2" groups at 100 yards, - clearly done by someone else though. ;)

2 fine rifles.     Have owned both.  Currently have a 1947 Marlin 39A.  Don't shoot it though,  just keep it wiped down.

What Shadow typed.....I'm planning to pick up a Marlin 981T....a tube fed bolt action and a Savage MKII G....10 shot clip bolt action.  Also want a Marlin lever action 39A....and Browning T-Bolt and BLR (Browning Lever Rifle)...all in .22lr of course.  But the last three on my list is over $500.00CAN....each, so most likely I won't get them...yeah, I'm a cheap person!!!!
Gamo: Expotec .177 + Big Cat .177 + Viper .177 + Whisper .177, Hammerli Titan .177, Diana model 24 .177, RWS-Diana P5 Magnum pistol .177, Crosman: G1 Extreme .177 + Storm XT .177 + Sierra Pro .177 + 1377 pistol .177, Air Arms S410SL .22, BSA Scorpion T10 .22, FX Cyclone .177, Remington Air Master 77 .177 + BB\'s,

Tommy, congrats on your two fine classics. I believe everybody ought to have and shoot a .22"rifle". As much as I love my air rifles, there's a lot to love over in the rimfire world.

I came from the opposite direction. Rimfires to air guns. Think I have a bit more in the air guns now. Nice guns there. Happy birthday to you, by any chance?

Very nice Rimfires T.

Nothing wrong with having good rimfires in your collection !!!!!

I still have the late 50's Winchester 77 that was my first powder burner as a kid. I've been hunting Squirrels with it for 45 years now and of all the guns I've had, it's stilll my favorite.

That'a a nice little Browning you have there Tcups. I have one that I bought new about 40 years ago. They were made in Belgium back then and they had dove tails for a scope machined into the reciever, I think I paid $60 for it. I saw one new at Bass Pro Shops and they wanted over $450 for it, Wow things have changed. Have fun shooting those rim fires.
