Yep, you can get a replacement from Crosman fairly cheap. Contact Kim Yaddow at kyaddow@crosman.com or call customer service at (800)724-7486 to get replacement parts. Check the Crosman.com site for a parts breakdown and part numbers.As for the piston, the chamber and piston in the Benjamin Super Streak are larger than most springers. That's how they get the rated 1500 fps output. The piston is heavy but it takes that weight in order to help generate those kind of magnum numbers. If you attempt to replace the piston for a lighter one, be aware of the possible loss of power. Personally, I like the weight and length of this gun, it helps steady it and make it a powerful and accurate AG. That's MHO.Happy Shooting!!!!Dave
