Ive got the .22 and its freaking awesome. I mean, its been leaking and will likely go back next week but regardless, these are really really nice rifles. However... if the .25 is more up your alley maybe you oughtta wait...

That's a tough choice for sure....   I guess it all depends on what you REALLY want.   If your heart is set on the .25 and you only have the $ for one gun then I'd say wait for the .25's to come out.   April will be here before you know it.  Then again,,,,, while I'm sure the .25's will perform just fine the truth of the matter is that since they aren't out yet noone really knows for sure how they will perform....  that being said we all know how great the .22 Mrods perform so getting one of them is a no brainer.....   I don't mean to make your decision tougher but you asked.....     :)

Looking at it from a pellets point of view...you may have to buy some .25 pellets AND you cant buy the .25 Mrod now anyway. But you may have some .22 pellets already AND you can get the .22 Mrod now. I would just get the .22 mrod now and get a .25 mrod after they have the bugs ironed out. I bought a .22 mrod back in Aug09 and I've had nothin but a whole lotta fun since then!!!

IVE ONLY HAD MINE THREE DAYS BUT I KNOW YOU CAN KILL ANYTHING WITH .22 THAT YOU CAN WITH .25.PLUS AMMO SELECTION WILL NOT BE AS GOOD WITH .25,AND I WOULD NOT WANT TO BE THE FIRST TO GET ANYTHING.THE BUGS HAVE BEEN WORKED OUT IN THE.22.I THINK YOU WOULD LOVE THE .22.

I am waiting for the .25, even though I have a .22 Marauder.

To be honest I have a bunch of really great .22 springers, and I hope to have another when I add the NPSS. I would like to use the awesome power of the Marauder to launch these heavier quarter-inch pellets. My .22 was a "first 100" so it won't be going anywhere, but I think PCP really shines on launching heavier pellets. Plus, the shroud handles the noise issues associated with the larger volume of air per shot.

If you have some good .22s, why duplicate, when the .25can take you to another levelin small game/long range? Unless money is no object... in which case I want to be your special friend. I really want a .25 in the arsenal (good for coyotes) and it seems to me that PCP has got to beat a springer for this mission.

I agree with you Dave....  I also think if you're going .25 cal then PCP is definitely the path to take.    I am still thinking about maybe getting a .25 Mrod when they come out but I'm not sure yet.  My .22 Condor is currently spitting out 31 gr. Sam Yang pellets at 950 fps and putting them in ragged hole groups  :)   With that kind of power at my disposal I don't really know if I need a .25 ,,  then again it would be nice to have a .25 in the collection.... I don't know  :(  will have to see how I feel and how my $ situation is when the .25 Mrod finally comes out....

Are you refering to body shots or headshots? Greg is supposed to be released an extension for more air for the .25 mrods
