Gene's (mud flap pellet trap box) with Ed mod's
« on: April 04, 2007, 08:56:14 AM »
I took Gene's great idea of a pellet trap box and did some mod's. I snagged a old milk crate and did Gene's install pic's with a few extra's. I will be putting lighting on it so I can shoot at night at my ouside range. Ed

You just had to go out do me Ed... hehe..  Heck, looks like you could shoot that thing with a shotgun and it would still be standing.. hehe

Way to go buddy.... It will last you a long long time.. And the lighting effects? Will that be strobe lights or fixed lighting.. hehe

That is one heavy duty Mud Flap Target box..  :)

Thanks for sharing

Good work. Ed. Might have to try some of this with my steel trap; sounds like you're using a nail gun when the pellets hit. Since I shoot in town, I have to be wary of the neighbors. Do you get any "bounce back" having the strips so close to the front of the trap, or do the pellets work their way through OK?

Nope Ric, they just hit and drop and I have a double curtain. Any pellet's that do get through are stopped by a double lined truck mat, the rubber room.:) Ed
