I had been on an email notification list with Midway sinceAugust for .380 +P ammo. Seems everybody was out of .380 ammo for several months. Just now getting restock. Thanks to the present administration for the ammo and firearms scares, I think places sold out because of the rumors.

Happy Shooting!!!!

I never ran out, but neither did I have extra ammo to practice with.  I just laid in 500 rounds of the ball ammo.

I almost feel like I should keep this to myself as much as possible, but I found this really good  website for ammo.

http://www.ammoengine.com/

It monitors multiple sites for instock ammo -- pistol, rifle centerfire, rimfire -- and breaks them down by mfg, type, and cost/round.  Pretty cool.  Someone should do the same for pellets.

Hey, I bought Federal "Champion" 115 gr FMJ 9mm at Walmart yesterday for $9.47 per box of 50. Six box limit. This ammo is in brass cartridges, apparently replacing the CCI "Blazer" on the WM shelf.
They also had Winchester white box for $11.47/50, and $20.89 for 100.
Today's Academy ad has "Monarch" 115fr FMJ for $9.99 a box
They had two boxes of Remington 115 gr JHP at $24 for a box of 100. I let my friends take them, but will be checking back for more soon.

Maybe the big ammo shortage is easing. But I still think the 9mm is a better round than that wimpy .380, Tommy ;-)
And I found a Kel-tec Sub 2000 in 9mm with Glock 17 grips for $325 with a web dealer, woohooo!

I was at a big gun show in Mesquite yesterday, no good buys on ammo at all, and few on guns. Did get a nice cordura holster and a cordura carry case for $6 each. Fun anyways.
