I finally had time to sight in my sheridan 20 cal and oh what a shooter it is. I couldnt believe how accurate it was. With Benjamin cylindrical pellets I was hitting the bulls eye (quarter size) at 10 yds. So I took a few twenty- five yard shots at empty shotgun shells hung on tree branches. Using good shooting techniqe I learned from u guys I was able to hit my target consistently. While taking a break I noticed a tree rat perched in a large oak which was over some water from the heavy rains we had received a day earlier. I was able to sneak up to within 45 yds and squeeze a shot off.I missed @#*mit. I quietly gave her 8 more pumps and took aim again aiming at the upper shoulder and whack. He fell about 30 or 40 ft and splash , dead before he hit the water. Proud of myself ,but couldnt believe it.After skinning him out I said damn what a shot.It went threw his shoulder on threw his head and fell out just below his ear. Going to try those Predators next to see how they do . To be continued.
