Chrony shield for Gene
« on: April 04, 2007, 04:07:39 PM »
This the the lighting and Chrony shield that I made for mine. Also made a little bench and side bar's for it to rest in. The red pen stripping show's me where I need to be for a good readout. Take notice at the top of the shield, yes it stop's pellet's from killing the chrony. Ed

Hay Guys,

Didn't I see a post that had a full rest attached to the crony., so that the rifle in the rest couldn't shoot the crony, and allways place the shot in the right area ?

My chrony is designed and set up with a rest so that it's virtually impossible to shoot the chrony .... that is until Gene came along..  Five years with this chrony and never even close .. and along comes Gene...lol..

Hay Charlie,

I knew I saw a chrony with a rifle rest, just couldn't remember where I saw it.

I guess you expected Gene to get too your chrony when you set that up, didn't Fritz try to stop him ? I read Gene has some really tough skin, he didn't hurt Frits did he ?

Poor Fritz !

....for about 5 moinths now, and never had a problem until yesterday.  I took it to someone who will remain namelesses house, to shoot my new B50 (if you read my review that will give you a clue who I am talking about) and that friend who will remain nameless wanted to chrony his S410, and shot my other friends chrony.  It's all been made good on, and everyone had a good laugh.
