Oh, what a beautiful morning!!!!
« on: February 09, 2010, 03:50:37 AM »
I had to make the trek out to the road to retrieve my camera just to share some pics with my friends.  Here in Tennessee, we don't see too much snow, especially the really pretty kind.  Being strategically located between the frozen north with it's wondrous snowfall and the tropical south with it's evergreen lushness, Tennessee has four distinct seasons.  Six, if you add salt and pepper!!!LOL  Now on to the pics, enjoy my friends!

All the sounds of the earth are like music,
All the sounds of the earth are like music,
The breeze is so busy it don't miss a tree,
And an ol' Weepin' Willer is laughin' at me.

Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I've got a wonderful feeling,
Everything's going my way.

Yep, sho'nuff, j

Beautiful pic's bro and there's something about being out in the forest during winter time with the snow blanketing everything, very peaceful and good Zen for the soul. :) Ed

Good photos.   I like to look at the snow.  And that's it, look.    Strange, since my family comes from an Artic region.

Sure is pretty !!!

"............very peaceful and good Zen for the soul.  Ed ...."

Amen, Ed !!!!

A good snow cover can muffle, or eliminates all the back ground sounds we get so used to and we forget are there.

I never knew just how pieceful it could be until my first time Squirrel hunting upstate in western NY. I was sitting on a log listening to the snow come down. Deep in the woods with everything covered in snow, it was so quiet that I could here snow flakes landing on the ends of  evergreen branches near me.

A real Zen moment for me.

Oh, what a $^&#$@ morning!

My daughter and I practiced "Zen shoveling" for most of one day to excavate the cars, driveway and sidewalk. Now we are awaiting ten to twenty inches more of this blissful white stuff.
