does the nitro piston have less recoil than the spring?

Between the wooden stock and the gas piston my Hunter kicks way less the the Big cat and is more powerful.

Speaking of reducing recoil I though of putting a small PVC or other cylinder of hyd fluind in the stock of the Big Cat in line with the piston to help absorb adn couter act the movement of the gun. Kind of like a gravity sled for racing or the hydraulic buffers for AR's.
