Hunting Season Closing Fast!
« on: February 15, 2010, 07:27:52 AM »
Only two more weeks here in TN for nutters, possums, and raccoons!  I've got to put some coon pelts on the wall!

Randy are you on the mend yet? I guess I should count myself as lucky because I can hunt raccoons year round here. Starlings and Eurasian Collared Doves can be hunted year round as well. So with the warmer weather my pest hunting opportunities should actually increase a little.

You are lucky.  Today is the last day/night I can shoot a coon or possum (and fox I think), but coyote season is not over until end of March so I 'll be putting a lot of food out to make him come back :)  The skunks are getting pretty fat this winter off of me! hehe :)

Momma is back home today.  Between my poor health and the nasty winter weather, hunting hasn't been a high priority.

Since the "owes" me, if the weather isn't too horrible tomorrow I'm going to stake out the back fence.

It looks like the arctic here today!  Snow, wind, ice, etc!  Maybe it will calm down by tonight!  Saw a few nutters this morning down i the acorn pile, even they went back to bed after breakfast it seems.
