Set my new personal best time record today wiff de ole duplicator Bob bought me!!Bob,,,,, I will pay Ya back soon as I can Buddy,,,,,, all the $$ Im making are going to feed me & my Lil Doggy Langley!!LOL!! Im really getting this "Down" now,,,,,, Im learnin new tricks every time I make a stock!! Feast Yer eyes on this Disco Walnut beuety!! Timbo.

Tim did you make the duplication jig or did you purchase it.. I do wood working and I love your work the figure and grain of the wood looks great.

Wont say how long it took me,,,,,,,,,,,,, the first one I duplicated inletting & outside shaping took me almost 6 hours.After a few I cut that time in half.Now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I have "Cut" that time considerably!!!!!! I can take it out of the duplicator looking like "9 Miles of bad road" now & have it sanded to DIY 80 grit finish in mere hours!!Problem is,,,,,, I lost my wood blank connection,,,,,,,, I gotta pay full price now for my solid & Laminate blanks. Oh well,,,,,, I will just pass that cost on to Yall. LOL!! Timbo

Ya cant have em all Pops!!This was the Walnut blank I said I had set aside for Ya,,,,,,,,,,, did not work out Pops,,,,,, dang thing is ugly as all get out. I will sell this one to some "Sucker"!!I will keep cutting till I cut into one good enough for me Pops!!LOL!! Son #2.

Tim how thick of a blank are you using 8/4? You might have to get a planner and big enough band saw to resaw your own lumber.. I look around to the tree trimming companies and pick up sections of wood all the time.

Wingman,,,,, My duplicator is a Radar Carve model. Tiny ball bearing slides,,,, a very nice machine. I use 10/4 & 8/4 blanks. I have a planer & 14" powermatic bandsaw. I had a REALLY big bandsaw,,,,,, a Wood Mizer portable saw mill I ran for years.I have a Friend just down the road that has the biggest turbo diesel model they make. Trouble is,,,,, we gots no walnut trees round here!! Timbo.

hey Timbo......remember , i want one of them ugly stocks !!
grain aint an issue as it'll be bedlinered for user friendliness.!!! make it look just like the ugly one and let me worry about the finish !!
