had this posted in the wrong match - sorry

Finally, I was able to beat my best score earned with the 1377. I was feeling very steady on this one just got a little aggressive with the trigger a couple times.

Some pellet testing is in order too. Generally - at 10m I believe any pellet with consistent shape (that I'm sighted in for) will shoot as well as I can BUT I tried the CPLs this time, the 1st 10 I ever put through the gun and picked up 6 points over the last 2 targets I submitted and 4 over the best I've shot with my current wad selection.

Weapon:   IZH 46M
Pellet:   CPL .177
Dist/Pos:   10m / Standing / 1 Hand
Score   84

VERY good 8/10 in the black

You are right, for AP, most any GOOD pellet will work just fine.  Having said that, you might still run into the pellet that your AP just does not like.

I like that cluster of tens/X's.  Seems of late there is an anti pellet FORCE residing in my 10 ring............scores are down 5-7%.  I can NOT seem to keep focused on the front sight.  Think I'm doing the mid range thing as the tgt is not super sharp, nor is the front sight.  When this happens and the shot breaks, they are most usually high unless I reeeeeeellly played with the trigger.

Again, nice wad centered up.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery.  Hit the target!  All else is twaddle.

A nice day with temps in high 50's and not much wind.  Still not sure what is going on but think I am shirking several "musts" for good shot execution.  Those last 10 % points in any game are HARD to snag and hold onto.

Izzy 46M, irons, H&N Finale, offhand with 90, 2X.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery.  Hit the target!  All else is twaddle.
