Marauder
« on: February 23, 2010, 06:46:27 AM »
Just ordered a Marauder and wondering if a Leapers Bug Buster(3x9) 32 MINI AO, will work on this rifle, or will it be to short to go over loading clip? I hope this is not a stupid question !!!!
                Thanks

No such thing as a stupid question Pete.....  I can't answer your question as I'm not familiar with that scope but I'm sure someone will chime in and give you the answer....

I'm thinking the height of the scope mount, rather than the scope, would be the deciding factor with regard to providing the clearance needed for the clip.  On my Marauder I used a set of Accushot high mounts (2 piece rings) and it gave me all the clearance needed for the clip.....

Sure will, you might want to get an UTG offset mount, or get a UTG 11mm to weaver adapter and put it on backwards like I did.

I got my MRod today. It is sweeeet! I ordered it from http://www.manventureoutpost.com on the 17th and the Brown brought it today. They may still have some in stock. Total plus shipping to the west coast was $408. According to the serial number, it was made in February of 2010.

I just checked. Looks like they're sold out. http://www.manventureoutpost.com/products/Benjamin-Sheridan-BP2263-Marauder-.22-Cal.html

Pete, a friend of mine ordered a shorty bug buster 3x9 with the mil dot reticle. Both he and I did not like the cross hair as it was very thick. The scope seemed to have a clear picture however with the scope being so short I had to lean into the scope to get that clear picture. This is because there is no room on the scope to set it to fit you, you have to put it where it will fit on the mounts. Sorry I have no info if it will work with your Marauder, but hope this was helpful.
