Point of Entry
« Reply #15 on: February 25, 2010, 03:31:44 AM »
Sorry guys, it is taking some time to get it all put together.

I was shooting from up the hill so the point of impact is almost straight into the back of head.

Thanks Randy, I feel better now with more detailed pics.  I feel rewarded after all that typing and advice I gave, hehe :)

So I think see what looks like a hole between the ears on top.. cause you said "just above the eyes"..  I 'm just trying to keep you honest, hehehe, just kidding! 8)  It did the job!  The 1st coon I got it was almost in the same spot, about 1/2" lower, when it had its head down..best time to squeeze :)  I like the 350 with the pellet holder wrapped around it.

Well I'm almost shooting down at a 30 degree angle. So when it bent over it was almost from behind!

No but he was head down.  You'll see on the video.

I had to go to your main page, and then look around for it, but it's still a great vid.

I started using the pellet holder after hunting in Kansas, It was just hard for me to fish around for a pellet for a quick second shot.  Also it keeps the gun ready to go at all times.  I thnk it holds 20 pellets which is plenty for a night hunt.

When I look at this he is bigger than Chip the Wonder Dog! He isn't the biggest one I've ever seen, but I'll bet he is 12-15 pounds.  I left him outside until it was light and Chip kept going outside to bark at it! :D

There is one that comes by that would make two of this one.  This one is about the size of the "twins" but he isn't one of them as they travel together all the time.
