Hello everyone I am new and I like to shoot things.  I just received my first big boy air rifle today and I am happy to be here.  I just purchased a RWS 34 and I am looking forward to performing some mods to it in the future.  I live in Nevada and wonder if anyone has some advice about a brand of paint I can use on the rifle that will hold up against the desert heat?  Thanks for any advice or suggestions that you may have.

Welcome to GTA junglelarry. I can't help with any paint reccomendation for your RWS 34 but there are others on the site that I'm sure can help. The RWS 34 is one fine air gun, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

A big welcome aboart Larry. Ya it sure does get hot in Nevada..:) And windy also. So you are gonna paint over your new RWS 34 stock? May I ask why?

Just something I am considering.  I was thinking of giving it a desert look but I am hesitant to do so if it will ruin the rifle or not last during a plinking session in 100+ degree heat.  I bought the RWS 34 as factory refurbished so it isn't brand spanking new but new enough that I will probably wait a little while before modding it.  There is no question in my mind to at least break the rifle in before I try anything drastic like a barrel chop even though I was very impressed by the work done by CAP to his 34.
