They're not all bullet proof
« on: February 27, 2010, 10:27:33 AM »
As promised here are a few photos of one of the Starlings we actually recovered today. I might be on to something, you guys never told me to shoot them in the head! The bird in the photo is actually one that my boy shot today. The other one that I shot was accitdently left so I never go a photo of him but they all look the same. Like I said before, they are really starting to shine up lately. I've got all the yard feeders restocked and am ready for the mornings action. The decoy doesn't look to bad huh. You would be surprised how ofter I reach for a gun when I look out the window and see Chancho sitting on the feeder.

Nice Shootin!.. Nice Disco too, what caliber is that? yeah not too many animals can take head shots, matter of fact I doubt a human could take a well placed head shot with one of these guns  :o

CitySniper, it's a .22 caliber. I've had in for a few months now, and it really is a tack driver. I guess it helps with the high power glass on it. I like shooting it, but there is just something special about the nice thump of a well tuned spring gun. The boy shoots the disco more than I do.
