How would you rank brands of airguns?
« on: February 27, 2010, 11:08:42 PM »
Not models but name brands. Who would be the top five in numerical order based on quality? Would RWS be ranked number one or are they overrated? Just curious. I have some work horses to shoot but im going to be looking for that one gun I can cherrish for many years of shooting pleasure.

Well Redroush00,

The answer to that question depends on what you intend to do with your air gun. If you intend to shoot 10 meter, a Feinwerkbau 700 Aluminum for a meer $3590.00, and some may say that it is notthe BEST 10 meter rifle, I'm not sure.

So first you must decide what type air gun you want, a pump action, spring action, C02, PCP, etc.

Then, what you intend to use it for ?

RWS is not over rated, but neither are they #1. RWS is a good rifle for the money. But the best brand, I think you would have to make a model by model comparison, and which brand comes out on top is going to depend on your criteria within each category.
